Litcham 2.6 miles. This lovely annexe is attached to the owner's home on the outskirts of the village of Beeston, near Litcham. The Annexe is an ideal property for a romantic break for couples wishing to explore this part of Norfolk. Step inside and discover the open-plan living and dining area which welcomes you with spectacular views out onto the neighbouring open farmland, often able to view wildlife such as deer pheasants, peacocks and birds, the perfect place to unwind. Later step into a well-equipped kitchen featuring a five-ring hob and double oven, sure to inspire those budding chefs. When you look to catch some shut-eye, make yourself at home in the bedroom, appointed with a king-size bed and lavish en-suite bathroom; for added convenience, there is an additional cloakroom with a hand basin and WC. Outside, there is a large, private lawn with furniture, ideal for indulge in a spot of alfresco dining; stargazers will be in their element thanks to the minimal light pollution allowing stars to shine bright. Treat yourselves to a well-earned break from the kitchen with a delicious meal at The Ploughshare pub before exploring the myriad of places to visit. Head to Swaffham town which is home to a thriving Saturday market, and abundance of independent shops, pubs and restaurants; there is something for everyone! The local area provides a vast array of attractions, including adventure parks, heritage railway lines, RSPB nature reserves, Thetford Forest, Peddars Way and National Trust properties, including Oxburgh Hall, Thursford and Castle Acre. The ancient city of Norwich with its historic castle and cathedral is within easy reach and Thetford, Ely and King's Lynn offer a diverse choice of theatres, cinemas, museums, shops and restaurants and are all serviced by good road links. The capital of the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham, is also close by; take to the water by hiring a boat for the day, an idyllic way to see the area. Litcham is a small, rural community in Norfolk that is home to the Bull Inn, a butcher, a general store, and a fish and chip shop. The beautiful church in the centre of town dates back to the 12th century and is dominated by a square tower; it underwent extensive reconstruction in the 15th century. There is always something going on in Litcham and the other villages of the parish (especially Beeston and Tittleshall). East Dereham, Swaffham, and Fakenham are all within 10 miles and feature a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops.

30 pm that most places wouldn't bother well must say this place was absolutely perfect for me and I didn't want leave come home first morning my bad luck continue my car broken down luckily owners very helpful lent me a battery and jump leads or I would of been stuck I couldn't find no fault with place locations was perfect me walk straight out door massive garden open fields perfect for me my dog I only used my car go shops was happy stay in do walks without having use my car return home after email saying safe tested return home have no electricity yet again thinking wish I was back were I just left I think for me this was in top 3 place I have booked stayed if not best one definitely recommend if only could stay there live out rest my life would been great wasn't a holiday for me but done me good only bad part was when I had to leave return to my so called home !!!!

The quietness and the relaxation make it the perfect place to stay. The wild life that you see pass through the garden is worth the stay by itself. It is also the perfect base to explore Norfolk. You are not much more than a hour away from anywhere you want to visit.
