Field Corner is a super-stylish and sympathetically converted terraced barn with open countryside views of Docking to the rear. Located quietly and tucked away in this popular village, only four miles from Brancaster with its stunning sandy beach, this gorgeous barn has oodles of character including many original beams. Combine this with some contemporary features and styling cues and you have a very laid-back luxury retreat.

Nestled peacefully in the charming village of Docking, Field Corner is a handsome traditional brick and flint terraced barn conversion boasting open countryside views of Docking. Located four miles from Brancaster and its stunning expansive sandy beach, this appealing hideaway has been thoughtfully renovated to retain original features that blend with contemporary styling to create a laid-back luxury retreat.

Comfortably spacious with beautiful country and coastal inspired interiors, Field Corner is a tranquil haven to return to after an exciting day spent exploring the big outdoors. Entered via a welcoming wide entrance hall, that leads through to well-equipped bespoke sweeping kitchen, featuring granite worktops and a large island. With convenient features such as two electric ovens, an induction hob, and a plate warming drawer, this is the perfect stage for rustling up a delicious meal made from the areas famous local produce. Sit up stools offer a place to perch to entertain the nominated chef as they get to work. Featuring original wooden beams, the combined adjacent dining area provides seating for up to eight guests around a traditional farmhouse table. Gather together for breakfast to plan the day ahead, or share wine, food and conversation long into the evening. Continue through into the magnificent sitting room, where ample seating is provided on deep sumptuous sofas appointed around a wood burning stove. Ambient light and warmth will fill the room as guests settle in to relax and recuperate. On warmer days, open the french doors to access the courtyard garden. An additional snug makes a great place for guests who prefer a quiet place away from the group, or makes a separate space for children to play board games. Conveniently located on this floor, bedroom two hosts a double bed under charming vaulted ceilings, and is served by an en suite shower room with decadent walk-in rainfall shower.

Upstairs, the opulent master bedroom with original beams hosts a king-size wooden sleigh bed with country views from the Juliet balcony, and is served by a luxurious en suite shower room offering twin basins and walk-in rainfall shower. Twin beds are offered by bedroom three and bedroom four, which also feature a glass Juliet balconies. These bedrooms are served by a family bathroom featuring a large bath with shower over. All bedrooms have been decorated using a muted colour palette, with beds dressed in good quality linens and sumptuous soft furnishings to ensure that guests experience a much-needed restorative deep sleep.

Outside, the fully-enclosed garden makes a safe place for supervised children to play. From April to October, a table with seating for eights guests is provided on the sunny terrace. Perfect for dining al fresco from the accompanying barbecue as guests take in the expansive countryside views. Also, from April to October, a table tennis table is set up in an additional enclosed courtyard. Ideal for partaking of an evening glass of wine as guests enjoy a friendly game or two. Parking for two cars is available in the gravel driveway. An EV charger is available to use around 40p/kwh chargeable via an App.

Situated in an exclusive development in the heart of the village of Docking, this sublime hideaway is a short stroll from the local pub, fish and chip shop, and late-opening grocery shop which sells newspapers, bread, pastries, and other everyday items. Popular nearby villages include Brancaster, Burnham Market, Thornham and Holme-next-the-Sea, all of which are within a four to seven mile drive of Field Corner.
