On the River Great Ouse sits the famous mediaeval port of King's Lynn, which dates to the 12th century. The town is a treasure mine for history buffs, with large merchant homes, art galleries, museums, and the Custom House, a Grade I listed edifice that was constructed in 1683 by Henry Bell. The town retains its original winding streets and alleys, and boasts good shopping facilities, with a combination of national retailers and specialist shops, along with a selection of pubs and restaurants. The West Norfolk shoreline is easily accessible by car, and most of the surrounding Norfolk countryside has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Particularly Hunstanton is well known for its stunning beaches and sunsets. A number of locations along the coast provide boat excursions, and the Norfolk Coast Cycleway connects King's Lynn with Cromer. Lovely outdoor seating area and the weather to go with it. Own parking area . Cottage in good position for visiting in the area. Will definitely go back again.

We loved Jackâs Corner Cottage It had everything you needed in it It was in a lovely quiet village but near to Sandringham and the coast Our hosts Lesley and Trevor were smashing too Recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet private holiday home

Clean and comfy nice sun trap to sit out in the court yard. Enclosed area for our dog. Located behind the pub ownen by the Licences. But you would not know the pub was there as no noise. Good location for coast or country. Thank You
