Rose Cottage in Norfolk receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and secure garden, making it a hit with dog owners. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the thoughtful welcome packs. The property is noted for its suitability for guests with mobility issues and its convenient location for exploring Norfolk. Despite one negative review mentioning dated decor and uncomfortable beds, the overwhelming majority celebrate the cottage's homely feel and the owner's hospitality.
Guests consistently mention that Rose Cottage is 'spotlessly clean', with several reviews highlighting the cleanliness as a standout feature. One review did mention stains on furniture, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall excellent feedback.
The location is frequently described as well-situated for exploring Norfolk, with positive mentions of nearby attractions and the quiet village setting. The ease of finding the cottage and the convenience of local amenities contribute to the high score.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the cottage 'cosy' and 'comfortable'. The presence of a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for those with mobility issues is appreciated. However, a few guests noted the upstairs bedrooms could be hot and the beds hard, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities at Rose Cottage are generally praised, including the well-equipped kitchen and the enclosed garden. The mention of a generous welcome basket adds to the positive feedback. However, one review suggested the need for fans and another mentioned inadequate freezer space, indicating room for improvement.
The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently commended, with mentions of welcome packs and treats for both guests and dogs. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is noted that such extras, though common, should not be expected with every stay.

It was like a home from home. The village is lovely, a perfect base to visit so many beautiful places in Norfolk- Sandringham, the seaside and national trust properties too. Sally, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a wonderful time, even though the weather wasnât that great, it didnât matter. I highly recommend this lovely cottage and if I could give 15 stars, then I would. Thank you for everything.

We arrived to lovely welcome hamper for us and the dog, and included delicious fresh eggs. The cottage was very clean, cosy , welcoming and equipped above and beyond. The garden was very secure for our dog and had plenty of seating to enjoy the fantastic weather we had. Well located to get to a good number of lovely places to visit. And the friendly local pub was a bonus! Thank you for having us and we hope to visit again.
