Railway View in Cromer is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, ample space for adults, and comfortable beds. Its location is convenient, opposite a children's play park and within walking distance to amenities and the coast. Guests have noted the efficient heating and the quality of bedding and towels. The property is also dog-friendly, with a secure garden. Some minor maintenance issues were mentioned but did not detract from the overall positive experience.
Guests consistently described the property as 'very clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the cottage.
The property's proximity to the train station, supermarkets, town centre, and coastal walks, as well as the quiet area and children's play park opposite, were highlighted as major advantages.
The reviews frequently mention comfortable beds and efficient heating. However, there was a suggestion to upgrade a duvet size for additional comfort.
Facilities such as a well-equipped kitchen, smart TV, and welcome hamper were appreciated. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, such as a bathroom screen needing additional support, but these were not seen as major concerns.
The extensive welcome pack with local items was a delightful surprise for guests, although it should be noted that such gifts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

“I have been using Keys holidays for some years now and this property has been much more accommodating. I was a little put off at first with the railway behind however we didn't at all hear them or notice. It was so quiet, respectable neighbourhood, a 2 minute walk to supermarket, 10 ninute walk to seafront, 15 minute walk to town . The house has 2 double beds, 2 singles, comfortable and clean. In each bedroom is a hair-dryer. Although we didn't cook whilst there it has everything. Our downside was slow running water from showers but really I don't have anything to complain about and will definitely book this again. Thank you for our lovely stay.
”

“We have just returned from a fabulous 4 night break at Railway view. The property was large enough for 6 adults and has an added bonus of 3 toilets! The property was very clean and beds were nice and comfy. Plenty of street parking and was opposite a children's play park. The welcome hamper and essential supplies were a nice surprise and would definitely recommend staying there.

”

“Nice property well suited for supermarket and a short walk to town. Property contents look new so we thought it was a new rental. All three bedrooms were used and only a couple of issues which were not insurmountable. 1/ one bedside light not plugged in which required bed to be moved to get to the switch behind headboard, 2/ very nice thick duvet on double bed but when due for renewal change to king sized duvet. Movement during night meant one of us had a cold backside. Heating is a bit unusual to control but worked well. Cooker very good and quick as was the toaster. Bathroom shower worked well but screen only supported at bottom and one edge so could see a breakage if care not taken. Couple of minor issues to bathroom, hole in wall at end of bath and finishing around window. Neither detracted from the holiday.Adding a top support would rectify any issues. Dishwasher was good but washing machine not trialled.
Sofas were comfortable and the 53” smart tv was a bonus. Garden would be nice during warmer weather. There was noise from the trains at bottom of garden and it was comforting rather than a nuisance. Should be expected considering house name. None of the negatives should be construed as major issues. Very simple fixes.
We all thought the house was well equipped, clean and of reasonable quality. The house was not booked for Xmas and we did hold some reservations which when staying were certainly unfounded. The pictures on the site do not do the property justice. The price was good considering it being over Xmas.
We would recommend you take a stay at Railway View, I certainly believe you will not be unhappy. ”
