Guests have enjoyed the unique and cosy character of The Triumphal Arch East, appreciating its lovely setting within the Holkham Estate. The property's ideal location for walking and exploring the local area is frequently praised. While some guests found the cottage smaller than expected, the overall experience is described as comfortable and the welcome pack is well-received.
Most guests found the property clean and comfortable, though there were a few mentions of specific areas needing attention, such as interior windows and the mirror above the bath. The feedback suggests room for improvement in cleanliness, but it is generally satisfactory.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with guests enjoying the proximity to Holkham Hall and the ability to explore the North Norfolk Coast. The setting is described as peaceful and ideal for walking, contributing to a very positive perception of the location.
The property is often described as cosy and comfortable, particularly the bed and linens. However, some guests noted the property's size as a limiting factor for comfort, especially for longer stays or in poor weather, indicating that while the property is comfortable, space is a constraint.
Facilities are generally adequate, with a welcome pack and parking permit appreciated. However, guests have suggested improvements such as better kitchen facilities, a light over the stairs, and a shower. Misinformation about a log burner and the number of toilets has also been highlighted.
The welcome pack is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating thoughtfulness. Suggestions for additions to the pack show guests value these touches. It should be noted that while gifts are often provided, they are subject to change and not guaranteed.
Sit within the picturesque surroundings of the Holkham Estate, offering a truly romantic getaway for two.

Mr Seddon
Very cosy and full of character. Really "away from it all" - so nice to see the sky with no light pollution.
Mr Norris
Suitable for small people. Sofa too small.
Mrs Ashcroft
Small tiny living which has everything you could need in the most stunning location; everything on the doorstep. The free car parking pass was great and we enjoyed not only the welcome pack but 10% discount card. Not only would we recommend but we’d love to return.
