Guests say

Flint Barn is a spacious and well-equipped property with a secure courtyard, ideal for dogs. It offers a peaceful countryside setting with easy access to local attractions and beaches. Guests have enjoyed the property's unique charm and the thoughtful touches such as dog treats and human treats. While some guests have raised issues with maintenance and design, the property's comfort and location are generally appreciated.

The property generally meets cleanliness standards, with several guests noting well-presented rooms. However, there are mentions of areas needing attention, such as pet hair in the lounge and cobwebs, which suggests room for improvement in thoroughness.

The location is praised for its quiet, peaceful setting and proximity to beaches and countryside walks. It is described as a great access point to local attractions, although some guests noted difficulty in finding the property initially.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property spacious. However, concerns about open-plan sleeping arrangements, insufficient seating in the lounge, and hot bedrooms suggest that comfort could be enhanced for all guests.

The property is well-equipped, with a particularly noted kitchen. Nonetheless, guests have reported several maintenance issues such as problematic doors, loose floorboards, and drainage issues, indicating a need for better upkeep and repairs.

Many guests have appreciated the thoughtful gestures, including welcome treats for both humans and dogs. While these gifts add a personal touch, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Lots to do nearby, we went to the beach at Cromer, SUP on a local river and for a spa day. The barn itself is very open plan in terms of living space, so brilliant for a group holiday as you never feel like you are separated from the group and the conversation. Kitchen is lovely and well equipped (ovens take a while to warm up though so be aware of that) and it was an added bonus to have a dishwasher. The bedrooms are lovely, all comfortable and warm, and the bathrooms are gorgeous, with great showers and jacuzzi baths to chose from. There’s plenty of parking space, we had two cars, and found some shops for our groceries when we arrived the first evening without any problems. We had a really lovely time, would recommend it again to anyone, and hope to go back again one day in the future.

Lovely accommodation, open plan two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. Good parking just outside of barn. Very quiet and peaceful area, surrounded by fields. No walking distance to a convenient store so need a car. Unfortunately we wouldn't go back due to not being allowed to leave dog in accommodation unattended. For us this made things much more restricted to visit places as we also have a child in a wheelchair. Which the accommodation was great for, apart from back courtyard.(loose gravel). Left a thank you card to owner with flowers

Some signs that cleaning is a bit slap dash, and odd issues with fixtures e.g. I repaired the small window that had lost a screw. Not too sure what the solution is with the floorboards. With a quality cleaner and odd job maintenance these steps could transform a good to an amazing. Hedge outside could be trimmed to add to to the cared for look! Enjoyed it very much thanks David
