Guests consistently praise the property for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location close to the beach and Main Street. The spacious rooms, particularly the large double bedroom, add to the comfort, although some guests noted the lack of a dishwasher and minor issues with cutlery cleanliness. The property is well-received for its quietness and the convenience of having a parking space.
Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, with many guests describing it as 'very clean' and 'spotless'. There was a minor mention of unclean cutlery, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The property's location is highly praised for being close to both the town centre and the beach, offering convenience for shopping, dining, and seaside activities. Its quiet street setting is also appreciated.
The property is described as spacious and comfortable, with a particularly large double bedroom. Some guests mentioned issues with steps and the need for additional support for mobility, but overall comfort is rated highly.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. However, the lack of a dishwasher and a problematic can opener were noted. The absence of a double door for mobility scooter access was also mentioned.
While guests were greeted with flowers and biscuits, and the provision of tea, coffee, and milk is mentioned, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

“I've stayed at The Annexe a number of times now and never regret booking it. It's a good size, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. It's also nicely decorated and furnished. The only downside is sometimes the kitchen isn't as well equipped as it might be - and I've recently discovered this comes about when it gets rented out alongside the big house next door. As a result things sometimes end up in the wrong place so it's worth asking at the agent's if you find something crucial isn't there.”

“The Annex on Morris Street is just like a bungalow, but with staircase leading to a bedroom in the eaves. I am not able to climb stairs and although the extra bedroom was nice to have, we both stayed in the downstairs accommodation. Which consists of a very large double bedroom, with a King sized bed. I personally would have preferred an actual double wardrobe as opposed to the “open-plan” type or concept, which consists of a wooden pole, with plenty of hangers, and a couple of slatted shelves. So although I hung up a lot of our clothes we kept the rest of our clothing in the case under the bed.
The bathroom, which is off of the kitchen, has a very nice shower cubicle, but be aware that there is quite a high step to actually get into the cubicle. The bathroom has a Toilet, hand basin and Shower Cubicle.
The kitchen has a lovely big freestanding Fridge-Freezer, as well as Microwave, Gas Hob, and everything else that Self Catering Accommodation needs.
We had a wonderful break and have already booked to return for a Holiday at The Annex on Morris Street. I personally found the 6.5” step up to get into the Double Bedroom, from the lounge, very difficult as there was nothing to hold onto, So, next time, I shall be bringing my disabled “half-step” to make it much easier to manage the 6.5” step.
”

“The annexe was absolutely perfect. Very quiet and very close to Main Street and beach. Everything very clean and modern.
”
