About this property

Escape to this gorgeous brick and flint cottage in Southrepps and immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of the North Norfolk coast. With two bedrooms, the exquisite retreat sleeps four guests and makes a magical base at any time of year. Just 4 miles from Mundesley and 5 miles from Cromer, it has a sunny garden for summer days and a wood burner for cosy winter nights in.

Step inside via the front door to find yourselves in the lounge/diner, which has a Norfolk pamment floor and like the rest of the house is beautifully decorated. Stoke up the wood burner in here so it casts a welcoming glow and settle down to watch the Smart TV, listen to music through the Bluetooth speaker or play one of the cottage’s vintage board games. Wander on through the delightful abode, past a family shower room and WC, to prepare the next delicious meal through in the airy kitchen/diner. Open the French doors to the garden in here on summer days and have a cup of tea and slice of Norfolk apple cake at the table. Sit down to lively holiday meals in here or through in the lounge/diner. At the end of each lovely day of your holiday, make your way up the wooden staircase to either the king-size bedroom or the twin. There is also a stylish family bathroom, with freestanding bath, up here. Spill out into the lawned garden to enjoy the sunshine as often as possible. Dine outside under the big Norfolk sky on balmy evenings.

Spend time in the bustling Victorian seaside towns of Sheringham, 10 miles away, and Cromer. Have a day out to the National Trust’s Jacobean Felbrigg Hall, 6 miles away, where you can visit the stately home and stroll through picturesque parkland grounds.

A really lovely cosy cottage. The decor and garden is adorable and we felt really at home. Lovely touch with the dog biscuits and Prosecco that was left for us. We slept really well and had a very comfortable stay. Great location too.

A delightful well equipped, spotlessly clean cottage in a friendly village with a pub selling delicious food right next door! One word of warning, beware steep stairs!

We had a lovely week at No.4. The cottage is beautiful and fully equipped with everything we could need. Our dog loved exploring the secure garden too. The staff at the village shop and the Vernon Arms were all very friendly as are all the people we met in the village. There are lots of lovely walks available from the cottage. We visit Norfolk a couple of times a year and would look forward to staying at No.4 in the future.
