A romantic getaway for two in the cheery village of Swanton Abbott, this beautiful single-level retreat is perfect for exploring the gorgeous countryside at the heart of Norfolk. Just a few miles from The Broads, the chalet makes a great base for couples looking for a tranquil hideaway, with opportunities to spot local wildlife and discover a beautiful part of the county. Featuring exposed wooden beams and a lovely wild garden, this light-filled bolthole has been stylishly furnished and tastefully decorated to make a memorable holiday home in glorious rural surroundings.

This bright and welcoming chalet features a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with beams in the high vaulted ceilings and plenty of light streaming through the skylights. The comfortable lounge has plenty of seating and a Smart TV so you can cuddle up together to watch a movie in the evenings. The large dining table is perfect for sharing romantic meals which you can cook in the handsome, elegantly arranged kitchen to the side. To the rear of the chalet, the beautifully decorated bedroom has a lovely super-king-size bed. Completing the accommodation is a refreshing shower room. Stepping outside, the garden has a decked area with outdoor furniture, plus a small pond surrounded by wild shrubbery and an array of plants, providing a charming spot to sit back and try to spot some of the area’s abundant wildlife. There’s also a relaxing second seating area nearby with a fire pit.

Swanton Abbott makes a fabulous base for exploring Norfolk by foot, bike, horse or boat. The Broads are just to the south-east, the nearest being Barton Broad and Wroxham Broad. Other local attractions include Barton House Railway, Wroxham Barns, Bewilderwood Norfolk and the magnificent Blickling Estate, all within 8 miles. The historic city of Norwich is to the south (11.5 miles).
