The property was beautifully furnished and equipped, everything appeared to have been thought of. The property was clean, warm and welcoming and the goody baskets for humans and dogs was thoughtful. It was the best cottage we’ve stayed in and deserves five stars.

The Old Forge was beautifully furnished and well equipped. The hampers and wine were a lovely welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did our dogs. We would love to go back and discover more of the area.

We absolutely loved The Old Forge it was all we could have wished for and more. It was spotless, warm & welcoming and it ticked all our boxes. We particularly liked the attention to the outside space also with mixed herbaceous beds, wildlife pond and seating areas. We could only imagine what it looks like in spring and summer!
