Situated on a quiet road in the pretty village of Tatterford, there is no light pollution at Osier Carr, perfect for stargazing in the giant Norfolk sky. There is a resident pair of Marsh Harriers in the countryside immediately outside the garden and Barn Owls are a regular feature hunting in the fields. You can walk straight from the front door and yet are still just 20 minutes from the beach at Brancaster.

Beautiful hand made kitchen, featuring a modern Aga which gives all the benefits of cooking in the Aga ovens but the flexibility of a gas range hob, larder style fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, sink and hand made kitchen table with seating for eight.
Open plan sitting / dining room:
This is an impressive heart to the house. Very spacious with an expanse of shelving on one wall with books and middle Eastern & Russian pieces and a vaulted and beamed ceiling. The room is elegantly furnished with leather sofas and extra large armchair, coffee tables, afhghan chaise longue and matching armchairs, lamps, large wall mounted TV with Sky channels, Bose music system, fantastic rotating wood burner and dining table and eight chairs. There are tri-fold doors opening to the patio with extensive views to the open countryside beyond.
Bedroom:
Accessed from the kitchen, with French doors opening to the front of the house this charming bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe with shelving.
En suite shower room:
Walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside:
There is a gravelled parking area to the front of the house and more parking at the far end, space for four cars comfortably. The garden is to the front of the barn and comprises of patio and lawn. There is a well-tended kitchen garden and soft fruit area, looked after by the owners. There is garden furniture and a BBQ.
There is hard standing at the entrance to Osier Carr Barn and all the doorways are wide enough for wheelchair access. There are no steps up or down inside the house and walk in showers are available with the large enclosure in the master en suite to allow access for less mobile guests.
