The nearby villages of New Buckenham, Kenninghall, and Banham all have nice restaurants, and Banham's zoo is a fun day out with regular Sunday car boot sales. Attleborough, a major market town with a range of stores, including a Sainsburys and a Lidl, is ideal for stocking up on necessities, while Wymondham and Diss, both approximately 12 miles distant, have some beautiful buildings as well as galleries and antique shops.
