Next up is Overstrand where you can spend the day at the beach, embark on the renowned deep history trail, which spans for 22.3 miles along the Norfolk cliff tops or have a hearty meal at Overstrand Cliffs or The Sea Marge Hotel. Continue onto Cromer home to its own beautiful beach, a bustling pier with its own theatre, the RNLI Henry Blog museum, an original Banksy artwork, an historic Lighthouse, Royal Cromer Golf Club and popular Amazona zoo.

Further afield you will find Sheringham, where you can delve into the history of the Sheringham Museum, visit Beeston Regis Priory, hike along the Norfolk coastal path or continue the seaside fun Sheringham beach.

Sheringham, a pleasant coastal town just a few miles up the coast, is where the North Norfolk Steam Railway pulls into for the day. Holt and Aylsham are two popular market towns not far from Norwich, which is home to the cathedral and many chances for wildlife and birdwatching.
