The cottage is described as a home away from home, with a secure garden for dogs and a quiet location ideal for relaxing holidays.

Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition of the cottage, highlighting its immaculate cleanliness as a standout feature. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment is frequently commended.

The location is praised for its close proximity to the beach and quiet setting, although some guests note the surrounding area is somewhat run down with poor roads. The area's tranquility and beach access are highly valued, despite some concerns about local amenities and infrastructure.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of luxurious bedrooms and a cozy atmosphere. The secure garden and pet-friendly environment contribute to the overall comfort, although a few guests noted the mattresses were too hard for their preference.

The property is well-equipped with modern conveniences, including air conditioning and a well-appointed kitchen. The presence of a log burner and secure garden are appreciated. However, there are comments about the need for higher toilets and grab handles for disabled guests, suggesting room for improvement in accessibility.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, such as homemade shortbread and dog treats. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, though indicative of the hosts' hospitality, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

We enjoyed the space and different living/seating areas especially as we were all logging into work at various times. The shortbread and tea were appreciated as well. We will definitely be booking again.

There is a pretty garden that is fully enclosed with a couple of sunbeds and a picnic bench to enjoy an alfresco breakfast. Only a few minutes walk to the stunning beaches. Very well equipped and comfortably furnished, the house was spotlessly clean and tidy. We had a relaxing couple of weeks exploring the area. Any queries were quickly answered by Bridget and Tim and the shortbread that we found on our arrival was very welcome and delicious. A 20 minute stroll through the Bush Estate brings you to Cart Gap and the Small Sticks cafe where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast followed by a walk to Happisburgh along the beach. The Star at Lessingham serve delicious food or if you fancy something more gourmet then you can’t go wrong with the Ingham Swan. Both are only a 5/10 minute drive away.

The upstairs bedroom/suite is amazing. 200yds to beach so a quick short walk to a fab long beach. Cottage was immaculate on arrival (as all Sykes properties are). Great bathrooms, comfy lounge, well equipped kitchen. Nice touches were the shortbread and boiled sweets plus milk in the fridge. Highly recommeded.
