Romantic and rustic, this light and airy luxurious hideaway comprises of an open-plan living environment furnished with bespoke handmade furniture and adorned with original artwork. Situated in the heart of the East Anglian countryside, only half an hour from Suffolk's Heritage Coast, guests are perfectly placed for rural and coastal exploration.

Curated all on one level and boasting underfloor heating, The Lavender Shack has been lovingly renovated to offer the height of luxury and comfort all year round. The inviting sitting area is set around a charming wood burning stove which fills the barn with additional warmth and ambient light on cooler evenings. Hunker down after a day spent exploring the big outdoors and revel in cosy contentment. The well-equipped kitchen offers all modern appliances to attract foodies who love to cook on holiday. With a plethora of delicious local produce to discover, rustling up a meal or two will be hard to resist. Tuck in to your creation in the delightful dining area designed for two. On sunny days the barn benefits from stunning natural flooding in through the bifold doors. Spilling out on to the spacious outdoors, guest will take pleasure in the woodland views and the gorgeous flower garden that the owner, a florist, has nurtured.

The sumptuous bedroom hosts a handmade super-king bed dressed in fine quality linens that enjoys views of the countryside beyond. The Lavender Shack, situated on the edge of the wonderful Waveney Valley and The Broads National Park is the perfect location to explore all that Norfolk and Suffolk has to offer. With scenic countryside on your doorstep for walking and boating, you are only a few minutes' drive away from paddle boarding and canoeing on the River Waveney, and from the traditional unspoilt market town of Bungay, home to delicious delis, cafes and independent shops. A mere six miles away is Beccles, the gateway to the Norfolk Broads. Half an hour away is Southwold, plus many other sandy Suffolk beaches and stunning coastal towns and villages. Norfolk's medieval main city, Norwich, is only fifteen miles away, and the outstanding North Norfolk coast can be reached within the hour.
