The house was clean, well stocked with facilities and cosy. It felt like our home rather than a holiday let. The owner has put a lot of effort into this property and takes a pride in how she presents it. Highly recommended. The local area is lovely and as we are national trust members there is plenty to do. Durham is beautiful and well worth a visit. We had a meal at the Pub and Kitchen in Cassop and their Sunday roast was fabulous! Many thanks and hope to see you next year.

Quiet & convenient location. Maybe useful info: My husband needs a bath for pain relief, this didn’t work for us due to the narrow bath with taps at the opposite end of the shower. This is not a criticism, just may be helpful info to note.

Thoughtful box of basics to help with the food for week, Surprised no salt or pepper but otherwise very pleased. I needed to clean the bath as water was not running away but after cleaning the plug hole of hair and things all was well.great location and very comfortable. The light outside was very sensitive to traffic! A good base to explore the district.
