The dining area can be found behind the kitchen and is bathed in natural light, thanks to the Velux windows, making for a fantastic socialising space; if you'd prefer a quick bite to eat, there is also a handy breakfast bar. As day turns to night, head to bed in one of four bedrooms, with one of these resting on the ground floor and enjoying access to a handy shower room and utility; continue upstairs where three more well-presented bedrooms can be found, along with a brilliant bathroom that hosts a bath and separate walk-in shower. In the morning, sit out on one of the patios and enjoy a steaming cup of tea or coffee, before venturing out to explore the wider area. The lovely Pennine town of Middleton-in-Teesdale, which is in the heart of the valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is nestled by the banks of the River Tees. This lively town has an excellent selection of shops, bars, and restaurants, and it is bordered by beautiful walking territory, including high open moorland and forested valleys. The neighbouring waterfalls of High Force, Gibson's Cave, and Cauldron Snout are among the most beautiful sites in the region.
