Large comfortable house and a garden too, which was nice to sit out in with breakfast as the weather was good. Lots of rooms downstairs for relaxing in, if you've a large family and want a quiet place to read, you'll find one! Neutral decor throughout the house but the views out of the windows at the front are very special. The ONLY negative was the small window in the downstairs loo was broken and wouldn't close, but that's just nitpicking and can very easily be repaired. Really loved our stay and will absolutely return!

Just a few things you may want to be aware of. We were unable to put anything in the blue bin as it was full with glass, we took our glass home with us, we left carboard recycling just inside the front door. The fire in the living room, we couldnt get the heat on option to work. The Remote for heating system was missing. The bath plug was not working, it would not hold the water in the bath and the bath panel is commong off. A couple of toilet holders are loose. Light above shower head popped out in the main bedroom The Toilet cistern running randomly in the main bedroom ensuite The Binoculars in the lounge are broken The China pot in the main bedroom is broken No light bulbs in bedside table lamps in the main bedroom

The house was exceptionally well located and well urnished with a real homely feel. It was spotless when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, the towels and bed linen very fresh and the living areas were very comfortable. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped (we brought a few extra things with us) and very spacious. It was helpful to have the covered utility area. Some additional instructions re using the microwave, gas hob, dishwasher and TV would have been helpful. Not everyone has the same systems and the last thing you want to do in someone else's house is to start pressing random buttons on appliances. Similarly up to date information about buses and taxis would have been useful. The information file was a bit thin. Not everyone is comfortable using the internet. But these are very minor things that did not detract from a super holiday in a beautiful house. We look forward to booking again.
