The Dukes is a wonderful place to stay. So comfortable to return to after a rainy day out! We have enjoyed exploring Alnwick and the beautiful countryside around. Also we got the train to Edinburgh from Alnmouth. Thank you for the generous welcome hamper and flowers.

Well what can we say! This is the best holiday apartment we have stayed in. It was so welcoming, clean and the welcome hamper was second to none! We have been to Northumberland three times but this visit we went to different places. The weather has been just perfect, blue stunning skies! Until next time.

Excellent service from the start! Loads of info provided in the digital handbook. The Dukes is situated in the old malting building in central Alnwick. Fabulous apartment with a generous welcome hamper and White Company toiletries. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, great shower and fluffy white towels. Comfy bed and plenty of storage space and coat hangers. The lounge is spacious with a comfortable sofa and dining room table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need for a self catering holiday including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is an allocated parking space adjacent to the building. This is the best by far apartment we have stayed in. Keith the owner rang us to ask if we needed anything and to offer any advice. We visited Barter Books, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and several other attractions. We had a good meal in The Dirty Bottles and also The Treehouse Restaurant in Alnwick Gardens. Well Done Coquet Cottages 5* all round.
