A very relaxing, enjoyable week. Northumberland’s beauty and space made the miserable, damp weather. The Puffin’s Burrow made a cosy and comfortable base – we particularly enjoyed the walks from the door, especially Hulne park and along the river opposite Alnwick Castle.

Thank you for a lovely stay! We’ve been really comfortable at The Puffin’s Burrow. The location is good for exploring the beautiful Northumberland Coast taking long walks along the beaches. We enjoyed a delicious steak at Lilburn’s and tasty fish and chips at The Fish Shack in Amble. Thanks to all at Coquet Cottages – so efficient!
