Enjoying a lovely position on North Farm, a short stroll from the rest of the cottages, is this delightful ground-floor semi-detached stone cottage, The Retreat. Sitting near the coast, within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you are wonderfully connected to the gorgeous Embleton Bay, as well as the village, and many surrounding attractions. Enter this quaint abode and be welcomed into the porch and down the hallway, finding the charming sitting room on the left; here you can relax on the leather sofas and armchair before the TV as you wind down into your evening. Continue past the traditional interior and find a pleasant dining room offering a social spot to gather in at mealtimes, with the kitchen down the hall hosting a great range of appliances for your self-catered stay. Enjoy having a dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine all at hand, making your holiday a breeze. Freshen up within the spacious shower room, and settle into either the lovely twin bedroom or the king-size, each with ample storage and elegant furnishings. Embleton is a delightful village settled in the county of Northumberland, resting on the fringes of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near to the coast. Home to Embleton Bay, with a long stretch of golden sands, with Dunstanburgh Castle providing a dramatic backdrop in the distance. Along with a collection of shops, there are some lovely, welcoming pubs, many pet-friendly for some local ales and drinks and excellent food.

Each stay is allocated a number of slots, 7 night stay - 5 slots, 5 night stay - 3 slots,3 night stay - 2 slots.
The same time slot is not available to each property each day.
Note: Caravans/ motor homes/ commercial vehicles (eg vans) are not permitted to be parked outside the properties, there is alternative parking opposite the properties, just off the main site (it is still covered by our cctv) This is available by prior arrangement at a cost of £20.

Good area for short walks and near coastal villages, etc. It was very comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen Friendly farmhands easy walking around the specially prepared footpaths Only issue I had was a lack of maintenance in the the bathroom - could do with change of silicone to tidy up the shower area

It is well equipped and the welcome pack is much appreciated. Just one thing I would like to point out and that is the start button on the washing machine is a bit iffy, sometimes it works straight away, other times it takes ages to get it to connect. Think it could do with looking at.
