Walkers will love the coastal path from Cheswick to Berwick and beyond. Berwick-upon-Tweed is England’s northernmost town and is great for shopping, galleries and crafts. Walkers will enjoy the Lowry Trail and wandering around the many historic sites. Cross the causeway at low tide to spend time on the wonderful Holy Island (5.2 miles), discover the coastal paths and local mead and explore Bamburgh Castle (14.2 miles).
