We are thrilled to welcome the gorgeous Holburn Mill Cottage to our collection of luxurious holiday homes in Northumberland. One of our most romantic retreats, Grade II listed Holburn Mill Cottage is the perfect intimate retreat in an idyllic setting. Located on the grounds of the old Holburn Corn Mill, the trickling Hetton burn at the bottom of your garden and the beautiful scenery is so peaceful, making this cottage a relaxing retreat for a leisurely holiday.
Sleeping just 2, the cottage is all ground level with a couple of steps here and there. It was originally one of the mill buildings that has been completely refurbished into a romantic cottage for 2. Fluffy bathrobes, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and the wood burning stove give a perfect mix of hotel luxury with a hint of the rustic Northumbrian landscape. Holy Island is just 10 miles away and Bamburgh Village and Castle is just 12 miles away.

What a wonderful cottage, peaceful, tranquil, and beautifully appointed. We were so happy here we have hardly felt the need to go out! I’ve slept like a baby. Thanks again to Christine and Alan for a lovely break. And to the ladies for the delicious eggs!

We echo the comments of the previous occupants, but we did go out, we enjoyed exploring and returning to this perfect retreat. Christine and Alan have worked hard to create a beautiful home from home. Spotlessly clean, very well-appointed, and quality all around. Christine and Alan are kind, very helpful, and in tune with the needs of guests and we have benefitted from their knowledge of the area, tips and recommendations.
