The location is frequently lauded for its easy access to beautiful coastlines, towns, and historical sites, as well as offering lovely walking and cycling routes. The views of the castle add to the charm, although one mention of a walk into town without a pedestrian walkway suggests a slight inconvenience.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and having great amenities, including a telescope for stargazing. However, there is a mention of some garden furniture being rotten and suggestions for additional kitchen items, indicating room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.
A very generous welcome package was highly appreciated by the guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.

Fantastic location. Private surroundings but within easy access of all the local attractions and within walking distance of Bambrough village beaches and castle. Really cannot wait to return.

Great beds and views to die for! Wonderful location in easy reach of resources Some serving spoons, side plates and more wine glasses would have been good, waste paper bins in the bedrooms Also 3 dishwasher tablets and one j cloth was a little inadequate. We like to eat in and resorted to washing up! These are minor issues but worth some thought Overall we were delighted with the property and enjoyed our stay in Northumberland. Thank you

Well equipped and gorgeous decor. Fabulous for our family celebration. Only fault was that some of the wooden garden furniture was rotten and unusable. Would return in a heartbeat though.
