Guests have found their stay at The Bakery to be delightful, praising its ideal location for exploring Northumberland's attractions and its peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The cottage is well-received for being warm, well-equipped, and comfortable, particularly for small families and those with pets. The hosts' hospitality, including homemade treats and farm experiences, adds a special touch to the visit.
The property is generally described as very clean. However, one mention of dusty skirting boards suggests room for improvement, but this does not seem to be a widespread concern.
The location is highly praised for being central and ideal for exploring local attractions such as Bamburgh and Lindisfarne, as well as for its quiet and peaceful setting.
The cottage is considered comfortable and cozy, suitable for up to four guests with a dog. One review mentions issues with TV reception and parking for those with mobility issues, indicating some areas that could be enhanced.
There is not enough information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance as the reviews provide mixed feedback, with some positive comments about the cottage being well-equipped and others mentioning poor TV reception.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing homemade treats and farm experiences. While these personal touches are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such offerings are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Very peaceful and great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Only issue was the water in en-suite bathroom was very slow to empty which was an issue, especially when brushing our teeth. Steve & Vicky very welcoming with personal touches on arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Should be pointed out parking unsuitable, if you have mobility issues. We were very unlucky as had atrocious weather, cold and rainy. But luckily heating activated by thermostat, so we were nice and cozy. Just got quite wet walking to get car to pick my husband up. Cottage comfortable, we had great difficulty trying to watch England final in Euro Cup. Tv reception very poor. Skirting boards dusty, children and families would love property.
