Beehive Barn is highly praised for its cleanliness, homely feel, and stunning location near attractions like Holy Island. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and extra features like a jukebox and open fire. The large garden and views add to the charm, though some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvement are noted.

Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as very clean and comfortable. One review noted a specific issue with hair behind cushions, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with proximity to Holy Island and other attractions. The views and accessibility are also commended, contributing to a high score.

The property is often described as comfortable, warm, and spacious, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. A few comments about the lack of wardrobe space and outdoor furniture condition slightly affect the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and extras like a jukebox. However, some maintenance issues such as broken dishwasher rollers, lightbulbs, and heating glitches are mentioned, leading to a slightly lower score.

Several reviews express appreciation for the thoughtful touches, such as Christmas decorations and a welcome pack. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

The house is decorated beautifully, the kitchen is very well equipped and we loved staying there. It has everything you need for a super comfortable stay. The jukebox is a great quirky addition, beds are really comfy, stove is great to relax by and the garden is great too. Just one small point - pls consider leaving some coffee pods and a few logs to get started. We borrowed the owners teapot as we couldn't find one in the cupboards

She was well impressed by kitchen facilities and equipment . The Jukebox was a great success . It was a shame there were not a few logs for the log burner , but a great cottage in an area we wanted to visit .

This visit I felt that attention to detail was lacking. ie… the corner sofa had human hair behind the large cusions, lots of it! Shower cubicle in small double needs attention, black mould, and toilet seat urine stained. Outdoor furniture at front covered in green mould and out back the circular picnic table couldn’t be used due to sever paint peel which made it very uncomfortable to sit on. Weather was great while we were there and would have been lovely to eat outside. Lock on front door needs attention. When locked from inside on two occasions we had difficulty opening it (it seemed to jam) which obviously in the event of a fire would be an issue. I am very familiar with keysafes due to my line of work. Again this needs attention as it was difficult to close Kitchen was amazing and very well equipped, lounge delightful too
