The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions, though one guest mentioned a slow drive along winding lanes for shopping, which slightly impacts the perfect score.
The majority of guests found the cottage extremely comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and peacefulness. A single comment about uncomfortable mattresses slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and secure gardens. However, a few guests noted minor issues such as the absence of a bread knife and difficulty with heating water.
Many guests were touched by the thoughtful welcome packs and provisions for dogs, though it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.
