Ideal for families, couples and friends, this beautifully furnished and elegantly decorated property makes a wonderful retreat for walkers, nature lovers and cyclists exploring a spectacular part of the Northumberland countryside. Retaining original exposed beams and stone flooring, this idyllic getaway is a tranquil base, perfect for discovering this magnificent county’s historic castles, pretty villages and stunning coastline.

Entering this bright and attractive property, a step down from the hall leads into the fully equipped open-plan kitchen/diner, an elegant space with exposed beams in the vaulted ceiling. With plenty of worktop space and a sociable dining table, this is an ideal location for preparing and enjoying all your favourite family meals. After dinner, move through to the social heart of the home. The inviting lounge is beautifully furnished, and a perfect spot to relax in. Settle back on the comfortable furniture as you flick on the Smart TV and fire up the wood burner for a cosy night in. The ground floor also features a charming double bedroom with oak furniture and TV, plus a family bathroom. Going upstairs, you will find a handy study area along with three further bedrooms, each with its own shower room: a king-size room with a walk-in style closet and smart TV, and two single rooms, all with beautiful low sloping beamed ceilings. Outside, the small courtyard can be enclosed by shutting the farm gate and features outdoor furniture so you can enjoy a morning coffee.

Backed by sand dunes, Beadnell Bay is perfect for a range of activities including rock pooling, kitesurfing, canoeing and paddleboarding. Beadnell has some lovely places to eat and drink, or you can head along the coast to Craster (7.5 miles) or Bamburgh (6 miles). From the harbour at Seahouses (3.5 miles) you can take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands.

- Wood burner in the lounge (a starter kit compromising of newspaper, firelighters, kindling and logs wil be provided from October to March)

- DVD player available in lounge (no DVDs provided but guests are welcome to bring their own to use during their stay)

- Stairgates at top and bottom of stairs

- Drying area for outdoor clothing in the garage and outside tap for muddy dogs

- Please note that there is strictly only parking for 2 correctly parked cars. This is to ensure access is possible at all times for neighbours and emergency vehicles. (1 small car can be parked within designated garden area, outside of the front door and enclosed by the gate and another car parked outside of this gate in the shared courtyard. Any additional cars will be required to park off site, either on the roadside or in nearby pay and display car parks.
