Guests say

Guests have had a pleasant experience at Bolland Hall, appreciating its original features, spaciousness, and cleanliness. The property's proximity to Morpeth town centre is highly valued, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. While there is a mention of noise from the nursery above, it is generally not seen as a significant issue.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with one review highlighting its immaculate condition.

The location is praised for being a short walk to the town centre and convenient for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to the A1.

Guests found their stay comfortable and relaxing, though there is a minor note regarding the absence of a wardrobe and a large mirror which could affect larger groups.

There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance as the reviews do not provide enough detail on these aspects.

The mention of a welcome gift of wine, cheese, and grapes suggests a level of thoughtfulness, although it is important to note that such gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

The nursery upstairs is a bit noisy during the day, but you can tune it out and we weren’t in much anyway! Very convenient location for visiting the wider area, near to the A1 but also just a short walk into the town. Would definitely recommend as a base for a stay in Northumberland, we had a very enjoyable week.

The place has a lot of character, is spacious and well equipped. It was immaculately clean. Communication with the host was excellent and we felt well looked after. During the day we could hear some noises coming from the nursery, but we soon adjusted to it and it didn't disturb us. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to return to explore more of the beautiful area.

The property had everything we needed and is a brief walk from Morpeth high-street. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay and would definitely book again. There is a children’s nursery in the same building, above where you are staying, but to be honest it wasn’t a problem. You could hear the occasional patter of feet, but we were off out during the day anyway, so it didn’t impact our stay.
