Walk into a spacious open-plan living space to find a seating area with a comfortable, reclining sofa so you can kick your feet up as you immerse yourself into a movie on the Smart TV. The designated chef will find everything they need for their culinary exploits in the fully-equipped kitchen, and their audience can keep them company around the large dining table. There’s also a small, separate seating area for those who need to finish off some work before the fun begins. During warmer months, make use of the vast garden, surrounded by woodland. The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.

I will be coming back to this lodge! Hopefully sooner rather than later with a weekend stay! Strongly advise anybody looking for a lodge in Norhumberland to stay here!

The grounds were expansive and totally private and had a feel of being in the middle of the countryside. Even though there were two days of torrential rain, we were able to sit on the back porch to enjoy our coffee/ wine and not feel we were confined to indoors which was a positive aspect to the cabin. The living area is very spacious and relaxing with underfloor heating, so lovely walking around in just socks or barefoot. The kitchen was very well equipped with cooking utensils and also some cleaning products ( great as Iâd forgotten some). All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and we are looking forward to returning in June.
