The Barn in Morpeth is highly praised for its fantastic setting, beautiful gardens, and amazing views. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from the owner, Cynthia, and the attention to detail in the property. The accommodation is described as a home from home, offering a peaceful and relaxing experience. While there is a mention of a minor issue with water pressure, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with guests looking forward to returning.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is frequently highlighted for its perfect spot, offering proximity to country houses, craft venues, and natural attractions for walking and rock climbing. The views and setting are consistently praised.

Guests find the property comfortable, mentioning a large comfortable bed and the property being a place to totally relax. The garden provides a private, sheltered area for enjoyment.

The property is well-stocked with essentials, and guests are generally satisfied with the facilities. However, a minor niggle regarding water pressure prevents a perfect score.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of tea, coffee, biscuits, and milk, which guests greatly appreciate. While these little extras are a lovely touch, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The Barn is very clean, has every amenity you could need and a very comfortable 4 poster bed. The private gardens look even better in the summer and are very tranquil with an amazing view. Cynthia is the perfect host. The bottle of wine was greatly appreciated.

The cottage was well stocked with everything you could need for your break, very comfortable large bed. Enjoyed our stay very much, highly recommended.

Cynthia was friendly and I think she really gives the impression she enjoys welcoming guests and her attention to detail in the period property is perfect. It turned out to be a place to totally relax, truly a home from home. We regarded ourselves very fortunate in choosing this as our holiday accommodation, particularly as we are not used to booking on line, as the view was second to none and I was able to make use of Cynthia’s delightful garden, which was private to us, for lunch and reading on two sunny & warm days as the seating area is very sheltered although still affording the view.
