Upon entering, the inviting living room space provides a spacious area for relaxing with a book or film at the end of a busy day exploring. Just off the living area you’ll find a dining table for 4 guests to enjoy a meal cooked up in the stylish and well-equipped kitchen, complete with electric oven, hob, washing machine and tumble dryer. When the sun comes out why not take your evening drink out to patio and fire up the barbeque in the enclosed garden, taking that well deserved rest with your meal and drinks on the patio furniture. When the day closes in, head upstairs to the double room with en-suite and walk in shower or twin bedroom. Offering the remains of an historic castle, lovely parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum, Morpeth is also ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, with miles of golden sands, the vibrant city of Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north, with its castle and gardens and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, with good walking amidst beautiful countryside.
