Guests say

South View is a highly praised cottage, celebrated for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and tasteful furnishings. Guests appreciate the stunning views, peaceful setting, and secure garden, ideal for families and pets. The property's location is convenient for exploring Northumberland, despite some concerns about the approach. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention minor issues with maintenance and inaccuracies in property descriptions.

The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with several guests highlighting the cleanliness as a standout feature. Only one minor mention of flies detracts from an otherwise perfect record.

The location is generally praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests noted the approach can be rugged and the property is slightly more remote than expected.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property spacious, with only a couple of mentions of bed springs and heating issues slightly affecting the overall comfort.

The property is well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished, but some guests reported minor issues with a dishwasher and a lack of ensuite facilities as described. The presence of a welcome pack is inconsistent, affecting the score.

While some guests mention welcome treats and a generous welcome pack, others note the absence of basic provisions upon arrival. Due to the inconsistency in guest experiences regarding thoughtful gestures, a definitive score cannot be provided.

The two sitting rooms meant that everyone had a space to do what they wanted. The outside area was great. The bedrooms with en suite super. Last but not least the location is fantastic for exploring what really is a fantastic area of the country. Long walks on stunning beaches. Amazing castles and historical towns to explore. We really enjoyed our stay.
