Looking out to the pretty Coquet River and its resident Herons (hence the house name!) is the beautiful Heron House in Warkworth. Standing just behind the riverbank, Heron House is a traditional terraced house built in the Victorian era and which still retains many of it’s original, classic features.
Heron House sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, is pet-friendly, has an enclosed, lawned garden and is just 15 minutes walk from the golden sands and dramatic dunes at Warkworth beach. This luxurious, spacious village home is classically decorated with some beautiful, modern twists and really feels like a home-from-home.
Warkworth Village may be small but is a hive of activity. With 4 great pubs, 3 restaurants, a handful of gift shops, a gorgeous art gallery and even a French chocolatier, you’ll certainly be spoiled for choice in this pretty village. Magnificent Warkworth Castle stands tall at the top of the village framing the bustling main street of the village, whilst the Coquet River loops around the village, providing more pretty walks to discover.
