We’ve had a great week in The Bridge Barn. Five days of glorious autumn weather, great for fishing! We’ve enjoyed walks on the beach, visits to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Amble and Seahouses. We’ve been very cosy in the cottage, the stove warmed the cottage up quickly. We appreciated the superb welcome pack. Thank you!

Another visit to The lovely Bridge Barn. We have had lots of beautiful beach walks and sea air. We had visits to Bamburgh and Holy Island – very atmospheric, we love it! We are off to Bertram’s for breakfast before heading home. Thank you!

Spent a fantastic week at The Bridge Barn. Lovely place, perfect for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast. We really enjoyed the beaches, our Springer Spaniel thought he was in ‘seventh heaven’! Really difficult to choose between them but Bamburgh, Druridge Bay and Warkworth stand out. We had great food at Bertram’s across the road and at the Fish Shack in Amble. We also enjoyed lunch at The Jolly Fisherman in Craster, but you do need to book ahead. Took the bus to Alnmouth and had lunch in the Red Lion and then walked back via the beach. Really enjoyed the Warkworth Castle tour – well worth doing! Thanks again.
