Guests say

Foxglove Covet is a well-kept cottage in Wooler, Northumberland, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and beautiful location. While the property is noted for its friendly staff and spotless condition, some guests feel that the accommodation could benefit from modernisation, particularly in the bathroom facilities and on-site amenities.

Guests consistently noted the property as spotless, indicating a high level of cleanliness that contributed positively to their stay.

The property's location is described as beautiful, and it is considered convenient for touring the area, suggesting a favourable location.

The beds were described as comfortable, but some guests experienced issues with the heating and would have appreciated better shower facilities, slightly impacting the comfort score.

While the kitchen was well-equipped, reviews indicate that the property's facilities are dated and lacking modern amenities, such as a proper shower. The absence of on-site facilities like a cafe or pool also affects this score.

There is no mention of gifts or special attention to guest needs that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The shower over bath was just a push on tap affair with no where to hook it up. The furniture abit tired to be honest. The kitchen very dated but well-equipped. Staff very friendly and property was spotless

I have one important reservation / suggestion. I am slightly disabled due to major cancer surgery on my ribs and back. As such it would have been great to have a proper overhead shower or separate shower unit. (My one attempt to us bath was almost a disaster. Thanks.
