South Shields, a seaside resort town on the Tyne estuary, is a short drive from Newcastle upon Tyne. Heavy industries like coal mining and glass manufacturing took over South Shields' long-established shipbuilding industry in the 19th century, when it was still a part of County Durham. With its Blue Flag beach, it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. The South Shields Museum, the Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, and the Souter Lighthouse are just a few of the town's many attractions, which include 76 steps to the top of the Souter Lighthouse for breathtaking views. You may take picturesque walks along the coast, taking in the stunning cliffs and rocky bays, or visit the South Marine and North Marine Parks, both of which are great places to spend an afternoon.

The outside drain was blocked, causing dirty water to overrun our outside area. Wet room extractor fan was broken, causing dampness throughout. The settee is dated, and in need of replacement.
