Guests have praised the property for its beautiful decor, comfortable beds, and stunning river views. Its proximity to Chester centre and local amenities like parks and supermarkets is highly appreciated. The terraced garden is a highlight for relaxation. Some guests received a warm welcome with thoughtful touches such as wine and milk.
The majority of guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though there were a few isolated reports of dust and cleanliness issues which seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is consistently lauded for being quiet yet conveniently close to the city centre, with easy access to river walks and local attractions, making it an ideal spot for guests.
Comfort is highly rated with mentions of comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests noted issues with steep stairs and one uncomfortable chair, slightly affecting the score.
Facilities are generally good, but there are several mentions of issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and parking difficulties. Some guests also suggested improvements in kitchenware and garden maintenance.

A superb Grade II listed, Georgian mid-terrace property, set beside the River Dee and commanding some of the best views in Chester. Dating back to 1827, this wonderfully-presented townhouse is ideal for those wishing to be close to the hustle and bustle of this beautiful city, yet have the feeling of open countryside with river views and panoramas across the beautiful Chester Meadows. Set over three floors, this stunning cottage has been finished to exacting standards to provide a comfortable retreat, with a modern fitted kitchen, two stylish living rooms and three inviting bedrooms, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. Outside, the terraced gardens cascade down to the riverside, providing the perfect place to while away a quiet afternoon or evening, reading a book or sharing a bottle of wine. Take a short stroll into Chester along the riverbank to experience a fantastic range of renowned eateries, entertainment venues and of course, world-famous shopping on the Tudor Rows. Within five minutes walk you can be roaming the ancient city walls or discovering the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain, or why not take a short drive to spend the day at Chester Zoo? This superb, historic city is also a great base from which to explore North Wales, the North West and the Peak District, all within easy reach and well worth a visit.
Chester has quite rightly been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the city is that within a very small area there is evidence of every period of history - from the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed town houses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture. The city has much to offer.
