Well kept and everything you should need. However, we were devastated to find animal faeces on the rug upstairs in the twin room - this was found not long after we arrived and when we took our bags upstairs.

Less than 10 minute drive to Chester zoo!

We will definitely stay again! Only small things to note that could make the property even better would be some oven gloves or more tea towels to take hot items out of the oven & hand towels in both of the bathrooms to dry hands, still these were only minor inconveniences.
