Guests say

Sanderson House is a spacious and well-equipped property in Cumbria, offering stunning views and a range of amenities including a hot tub and pool table. Guests have praised the comfortable beds, cleanliness, and the helpfulness of the owners. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements were noted, the overall experience was highly enjoyable for large groups and families.

Most guests found the property to be very clean and well-presented upon arrival, with only one review mentioning cleanliness issues. This suggests that the property is generally maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

While guests have mentioned the property's stunning views and proximity to local attractions, there is insufficient information to accurately score the location based on the reviews provided.

Guests have consistently mentioned the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the property, which accommodated large groups without feeling overcrowded. The comfort of guests seems to be a strong point for Sanderson House.

The property boasts a range of facilities including a hot tub, pool table, and well-stocked kitchen. However, some guests reported minor issues with heating, missing amenities, and maintenance needs, which slightly lowers the score.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews. Therefore, while the property seems well-equipped and the owners helpful, there is no basis to score thoughtfulness.

Add a touch of grandeur to your next getaway with a stay at Sanderson House

Cleator Moor is a small town in the English county of Cumbria, just a few miles inland from Whitehaven and the shore. The town has a few bars, a few stores, and a few other small enterprises, as well as a Mart Square with three sculptures by Conrad Atkinson, a local artist who has gained international renown. The C2C Cycle Route, which runs from Whitehaven to Sunderland, passes through this area, as does a section of the West Cumbria Cycle Network. Bicyclists can enjoy a leisurely ride along the path of the once-bustling Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont and Rowrah and Kelton Fell Railways, all of which operated in the 1850s. Whitehaven, a port town on the western coast of Cumbria, offers a broader range of services and is worth visiting for its golf course, Beacon Museum, and Jefferson's Shop, among other things. Spend some time at one of the local beaches like Providence Bay Beach, Tanyard Bay Beach, or Fleswick Bay during the summer months, or explore the Lake District National Park for hiking and other outdoor activities. Cleator Moor is a great base from which to discover the surrounding area.
