Cottage was welcoming and clean. Warmed up quickly, although we never managed to get a good result with the log burner (probably because we’re not used to one). Lovely light kitchen with good-sized table. Really hot water. We were fortunate with the weather, especially as elsewhere was rather wet, and managed a few minutes in the garden. This would be lovely late afternoon in the summer with a glass or two. All in all, a great stay. Steps to attic bedroom very steep - you wouldn’t want to have to go down to the toilet in the middle of the night.
