Close at hand, the pretty village of Cartmel is just a 15-minute walk away and offers some fabulous pubs and restaurants, a big draw being the Michelin starred L’Enclume. On race days, the village is packed with race goers keen to enjoy the unique atmosphere that is Cartmel. South Lakeland and the popular villages of Bowness and Windermere are a short drive or steamer cruise away. Also close by is the delightful coastal town of Grange-over-Sands and the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
