Step into this tastefully renovated, semi-detached cottage and find a convenient boot and utility room. Drop off bags and walking boots before heading into the large, modernised country kitchen, where you can cook up a storm for your loved ones and gather everyone to eat in the delightful lounge/diner. After dinner, pour yourself a cup of tea and unwind in the spacious lounge with the wood burner flickering and the Smart TV playing your favourite shows. Admire the exposed wooden beams and the feature fireplace while you're here. If you're lucky with the weather, relax on the outdoor furniture in the extensive back garden, or perhaps, strike up the BBQ for a grilled feast. The owner has thoughtfully put in a games room, too. When the day is done, choose from a master super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a double and a cosy twin that can be converted into a super-king on request. A family bathroom completes the interior, while outside, private parking is available for three cars.
Make the journey to the market town of Appleby (2 miles) and enjoy a range of local amenities, such as shops, pubs and swimming facilities. The walking in the area is second to none, with a wealth of trails through the picturesque landscape of the Lake District and Eden Valley within 15 miles, or drive to Dufton Wood (2.5 miles), where you can wander through patchwork fields of bluebells.
