Snaptrip says

Eastwood House is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, tasteful decoration, and the property's suitability for dogs. The location is convenient for local amenities and exploring the Lake District, despite some comments about the weather. The house's kitchen and conservatory have been highlighted for attention, but overall, guests have had enjoyable stays and many express a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting its immaculate condition. However, a few reviews mention issues with kitchen cleanliness and dog mess in the garden, slightly affecting the overall impression.

The property's location is generally praised for its convenience to supermarkets, restaurants, and coastline. It serves as a good base for exploring the Lake District. Some guests were surprised by the windiness due to coastal proximity, but this did not significantly detract from their experience.

Guests find the rooms spacious and the beds comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. The garden is a highlight for relaxation, especially for pet owners. Some concerns about conservatory leaks and a cold dining area during bad weather are noted but do not overshadow the overall comfort.

The house is well-equipped with a large kitchen, WiFi, and secure garden. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as leaks, broken door handles, and non-functional fireplaces. These issues suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While many reviews express satisfaction with the property's amenities and the enjoyment of their stay, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Unfortunately, it’s not quite as good as it was back then, which was a little disappointing. It is a little tired now, windows that won’t open, dripping taps, kitchen a little disorganised and lacking. If I had nothing to compare it with, maybe it wouldn’t have been so noticeable!

Very well kept and very clean. Comfy beds. Garden beautiful. Everything we needed was provided for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. The coastal road to the house is amazing and lots of places to visit nearby.

The conservatory room is fantastic but it leaks. It rained badly on one day and leaked in at least 4 places - owner is aware but not sure they know the full extent. Having said this we had a lovely break and the dog loved the amazing sized garden. Will come back
