We stayed for my wife and twin sisters 40th Birthday and we had the best time. The rooms are amazing and there's so much to do nearby. We were greeted by a homemade cake too which was a nice touch.

Its a perfect accommodation if you have several families coming together as there is an en-suite for each room. I do think the check out time is a little early and cuts your break short so an additional hour would be ideal to allow a more relaxed departure. Id say 5 of the 6 rooms were lovely but one could do with a bit of TLC as its a tad dated/tired compared to others. We had good comms from the owner at points but some messages remained not responded to which is a shame as one was asking how we rebook for next year with them. This is honestly the perfect booking for several families to come together for a few day/nights with out feeling on top of one another and I would say its a great booking for 12 persons young or old.

It did help the weather was kind to us, when the weather was good we were able to sit outside and use the BBQ also the table in the orangery/conservatory was big enough for us when the weather did turn on the last night. All the bedrooms were comfy and worked well for us and the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. If we were to go back to the area we would not hesitate to rebook Millwood Lodge.
