While minor maintenance issues are mentioned, they do not detract from the overall positive experience.

Reviewers frequently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and 'immaculate', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is highly praised for being central and convenient, with easy access to local amenities, walks, and attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring.

We visit Cartmel regularly and the location is perfect. We will definitely be using this accommodation again. Very clean, really nice apartment, lovely original features. Everything you would need.

We felt at home straight away, as did our pooch! The house was clean, cosy and well maintained. The welcome basket and bottle was greatly appreciated! It was a treat to have the lovely super king bed too. The only small thing was the unexpected construction outside the house which could be quite loud at times as it was directly opposite, but as we happened to be out walking most of the day this didn’t bother us too much. You’re within walking distance of many shops, dog friendly pubs, and great dog walks in the local area, while still only being up to a couple hours drive from the lakes and fells to the north (we drove to Windermere, Buttermere, Keswick, Coniston etc with great ease). Overall we had an amazing week and didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back!
