Short walk into the next village with more amenities to enjoy. Cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped and a generous welcome pack, Owner contact prior to booking and at the time of arrival was brilliant. Would highly recommend.

It was a great location for exploring the area and the station was a bonus. We really liked the cottage but felt the space was too tight in the sitting room to accommodate 7 adults comfortable. This was the same with the dinning area. The lights in the bedroom next to the bathroom did not work and there seemed to be a bedside cupboard missing. Kitchen cupboards were not as clean as we would expect. Cobwebs between fridge and cupboard. Baking trays & toast rack would have been useful. These comments seem " picky" but we are used to exceptional standards at other Sykes cottages we have stayed in.

Great cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely walks on your doorstep. Will definitely be returning.
