Holker Hall house and deer park are just a short walk from Cark. Cartmel is renowned for its racecourse, and the town is well served with a selection of shops, traditional pubs and a Michelin starred restaurant. Had a really nice stay. Only extra thing that should have been included in the listing was that it's only a few hundred metres from the train station - we used the train a number of times.

  • Irene

The car parking was a bonus. Would certainly recommend this cottage.
