Kirkby Lonsdale 5.3 miles. This lodge is the perfect getaway for families in Gatebeck, Cumbria. It's got exceptional views within a countryside setting and is decorated with a contemporary interior. The lodge has two bedrooms and also comes with a woodburning stove for those cooler evenings. Be greeted by two off-road parking spaces before stepping inside to discover a utility room with storage space, a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you don't need to worry about making a mess! The open-plan living space is a multifunctional space, letting guests dine, cook, or just relax. It has an open plan kitchen complete with an electric oven and a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a fridge/freezer. The dining area has a seating capacity of four, so you can dine together with your friends or family. The sitting area also comes with a Smart TV, so you can snuggle up and enjoy an evening of entertainment after exploring the Fells. On warmer days, bi-fold doors lead out onto the front garden, where you can sip cold beverages as the sun shines on your face as you admire your rural location. As day draws to night, retire inside and prepare for bed in the marble-effect bathroom with either a soak in the tub or a quick wash in the walk-in shower. i really felt like i was at home it was really cosy and peacefull to all them people who will be going to the lodge do not take anything with you the lodge has everything you need there:0) i suffer from anxiety and this lodge has really healed me i really didnt want to come back home kendal town ,the market, winderemere lakes was only little miles away beatrex potter ,steam trains and much more that we didnt have time to go visit also the owner of the lodge is a sweetie verry kind and helpfull when we arrived they left us toast,tea,coffee,milk,biscuits,choc,wine and much more, mini shower gels,shampoo,soaps in our bedrooms them little details was verry thoughtfull thankyou for everything and we shall be back again sometime will be missing the sheeps and the view :0(

The owner left a basket of goodies when we arrived which came in so handy! They also left lots of wood and kindling that did us for the whole trip. I will 100% be staying here again thank you
