Sedbergh - pronounced Sed-Ber â is an ancient market town situated in northern Dentdale within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The town itself boasts narrow streets, little shops, traditional pubs and a famous school, dating back to 1536. There is also an atmospheric 12th Century church. Dentdale is located amongst rolling hills and stretches 14 miles from the windswept moors below Whernside to the rivers Dee and Rawthey. At the heart of the dale is the town of Dent, which has existed since Norman times and is a labyrinth of winding cobbled streets. There are three golf courses in the vicinity as well as tennis, horse riding and fishing. With such incredible scenery and so many fascinating trails, the area is a great place for walkers and cyclists. This, together with the surrounding valleys and two National Parks, makes Sedburgh a fantastic spot for a holiday outdoors.

Every thing was perfect apart from the narrow bridge before you get to the cottage by a few minutes. That should be mentioed in your description, there is another rout that avoid that narrow bridge and takes you there. Many many thanks

Well equipped cottage with nice views. Definitely go back and recommend to someone

Very clean with plenty of room for the entire family. The kitchen had everything you could need with such a nice big table to gather. The sitting room was very comfortable as well as the bedrooms. The setting was unbelievable. The only thing we learned to deal with was the long very narrow drive to get to the house. Highly recommend!!
